Moffett Productions Purchases New Hi-Def JVC HD250U Professional Camera

In keeping with Moffett Productions never ending pursuit to have the latest and greatest technology, we have just purchased the new JVC GY-HD250U Professional Hi-Definition Camera.  This brand new camera can shoot at any frame rate and resolution, enabling us to deliver images up to the critical standards of Hi-Definition video.  The HD250U features progressive scanning which is the preferred system for high end HDTV cameras, since each frame is captured completely, without interlacing.  For maximum flexability we also purchased the extra Fujinon 13:1 ProHD Wide Angle Lens.  This is a great camera for our sound stage because it's HD-SDI output jacks allow us to capture directly into our Autodesk Smoke system at full HD resolution.  The JVC HD250U is also the perfect field camera because of it's small footprint and the ability to capture the most accurate images with it's native 1280x720 progressive CCD's (x3).  For more on this camera check out JVC's page.
